Software Magazine ranks ValueLabs as one of the world’s largest software companies
ValueLabs, a global IT services company today announces its inclusion in Software Magazine’s Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers, now in its 30th year. ValueLabs was ranked 388 for software revenue in FY 2011.
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2011. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by Rockport Custom Publishing, LLC. and posted at www.softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
ValueLabs amongst “50 Best Companies to Work for” in India
ValueLabs, a global IT services company, has been placed amongst the 50 best companies to work for in India, for 2009, in a study conducted to identify great workplaces across the country.
The Hyderabad-based firm has made it to the prestigious list of companies, which includes global brands and domestic players, that have been identified by the study as promoting great work culture and creating collaborative, healthy relationships among people at all levels in the organization.
The survey was conducted by The Great Place to Work® Institute (GPWI – www.greatplacetowork.com) in collaboration with The Economic Times (ET), across all companies in India, spanning various sectors and sizes, and including domestic players as well as MNCs.
ValueLabs among the Top 15 Exciting Emerging Companies to Work For
ValueLabs has been ranked amongst the “Top 15 Exciting Emerging Companies to Work For”, in a survey conducted by NASSCOM. The survey was conducted among 1100 companies in the IT-BPO sector across India to identify the exciting emerging companies to work for. The research was conducted in partnership with Grow Talent, a strategic HR consultancy firm.
The objective of the survey, according to NASSCOM, was to identify the best small and medium-sized IT-BPO companies to work for, within the Rupees 250 crores (approximately US $ 65 million) annual turnover category, through a set of relevant parameters for this industry. The survey focused on a number of critical success factors and best practices followed by the emerging companies. These factors included innovative practices such as the Balanced Scorecard approach for Performance Appraisal to designing of Performance Grade Cards.

The CNBC-TV18 & ICICI Bank Emerging India Awards that honour the best small and medium enterprises in India, were announced at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai, India. The award presented by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh was received by Arjun Rao, CEO of ValueLabs, in the ICE & ITeS category.
