• ValueLabs, Inc. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Architect – Software Development. Provide Product Management team support. • Help Product team in feature discussions and feasibility study. Gather client requirements and work on high-level estimates. • Involved in feature level discussions with System Architecture team. • Design client requirements with UML, Flow charts. Go through various iterations with the stake holders to finalize the design documents. • Responsible for software development. Create multiple prototypes for new technical features. Code with well designed, testable • efficient code by following industry standards and specifications with Agile model SDLC. Deliver client requirements on time with high quality software. Develop software through Test Driven Development. Implement continuous integration model for all the independent software services in the project as part of the DevOps model. • Tune micro-service performance to achieve maximum scalability with minimum system resources. Responsible for Team management, including frequent monitoring of the engineering development progress. Help offshore engineering team in resolving technical issues. Develop software code reviews for all the important technical flows. Share technical updates with the team on global changes. • Provide on call support. Monitor PhotoOrg micro-service infrastructure by various monitoring tools like Icinga, Ganglia and Splunk. Be on call for PhotoOrg service and resolve production issues with in stipulated SLA. Work at various unanticipated locations throughout the US for long term projects

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a directly related IT field plus five (5) years of experience in software engineering or development Must have five (5) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
• Experience with Programming Languages, including Java, Ruby-on-Rails, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with Web Servers, including Tomcat, Apache, and ExpressJS
• Experience with Databases, including MySql and Mongo DB
• Experience with Architectures/Frameworks, including JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Structs, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Jersey REST API, XML, XSLT, RabbitMQ, NodeJS, and React JS
• Experience with Build Tools, including Ant, Maven, and Rollup
• Experience with Operating Systems, including Linux and Mac OS
• Experience with Unit Test Frameworks, including Junit, Jasmine, RSpec, and Jest
• Experience with CI/CDP Tools, including Chef, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
• Experience with Logging Tools, including Splunk
• Experience with Cloud technologies, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Travel for work at various unanticipated locations throughout the US for long term projects.
