We are looking for .Net lead,NET/ASP.NET development, C#, SQL/ SQL Server 2014 - 2017, Windows 2008/12/16 server

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of applications, websites, intranets and rich multi-media experiences according to the brief and technical specifications
  • Work closely with the other developers and designers to integrate the UI according to internal standards and processes
  • Lead our Platform design, offering solutions, advice and thoughts and provide feedback. Develop overall technical strategies for external client projects in accordance with the technical requirements
  • Present technical strategies to clients and gather technical requirements as needed
  • Ensure all developments are fully documented, meet high level design requirements e.g. data, customer experience, architecture, security, quality & operations, as well as regulatory and industry best practice standards so projects are fit for purpose leaving testing & transitioning to live environment
  • Ensure all new developments go through an appropriate testing process and work with QA Analyst to create test plans
  • Accurately report on development progress and issues, identifying remedial action when required to address problems and keep development on track
  • Proactively keep abreast of industry regulatory and best practice developments, skills and technologies and share information, ideas and best practice with other internal teams to improve skills
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the delivery team and the wider digital function so that the overall function operates professionally and is seen as delivery focused. Engage professionally with customers when required
  • Estimate the time and materials required to complete each project or task
  • Demonstrate a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization. Work within project timelines and budgets
  • Work independently and/or within a team as the work requires. Participate in team activities and team planning with the aim of improving team skills, awareness and quality of work
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Research technical issues and provide recommendations to enhance our applications
  • Unit test code to ensure quality
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Perform code review sessions with other developers and suggest improvements or alternate approaches when appropriate
Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, specifically: .NET/ASP.NET development, C#, SQL/ SQL Server 2014 – 2017, Windows 2008/12/16 server
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, specifically: .NET/ASP.NET development, C#, SQL/ SQL Server 2014 – 2017, Windows 2008/12/16 server
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies including JSON/XML, Restful and SOAP-based web services (WebAPI, WCF)
  • Front-end technologies expertise, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS
  • Hands-on experience in e-commerce software development a plus: specifically EPiServer – Experience developing software using a formal and structured development methodology
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with test driven development and proper unit testing of code
  • Iterative approach to development, using short development cycles and frequent builds – Object Oriented Programming / Object Oriented Design (OOP/OOD)
  • Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development
