We are looking for an Architect with experience in Java

  • Hands-on architect who is passionate about technology and solving important design challenges. This means you should be technology agnostic, know how to code, and be willing to consider technologies and solutions that are relevant to the business and its goals
  • A solid understanding and experience of architecture patterns including ESB, SOA, database, integration, and cloud architecture
  • A self-driven, highly motivated technologist who can work with a high degree of autonomy and is able to prioritize effectively
  • A business minded person who can work collaboratively and has proven experience in creating influence across product teams, delivery and IS to drive technical efforts
  • Someone who is articulate and can effectively communicate with technical teams, non-technical business leaders, and clients
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Architecture
  • Hands-on experience developing Proofs-of-concepts, prototypes, and business cases
  • Proven ability to collaborate and drive influence with multi-discipline, multi-business unit teams through data-driven decision making
  • A strong understanding of Agile/scum development process
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • BS in Computer Science or related field (MS or PhD preferred)

Technology experience we would have interest in is:

  • Service Oriented Architecture design.
  • Solid experience developing software architecture for enterprise level, SaaS based solutions
  • Distributed systems and architecture experience with multi-tiered mission-critical systems
  • JAVA, J2EE
  • SQL Server, SSIS
  • RESTful API design
  • Java Script Frameworks (React / Angular)
  • Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
  • Docker
  • MicroServices
  • JBoss
  • Message Driven Architecture (JMS, RabbitMQ, KAFKA)
  • PaaS/OpenShift
