The “Best Established Indian Company in the IT Sector” for the year 2005-06 has been awarded to ValueLabs by the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on the 31st of May 2007 at a spectacular awards function organized by HYSEA at Hotel Fortune Katriya in Hyderabad. Notwithstanding with the traditional approach where CEO generally takes the award, the management at ValueLabs wanted the award to be received by one of its employees.
The company promoting the spirit of teamwork in its true sense had randomly picked one employee which was destined to be Pranav, to receive the award. This was a good gesture on the part of the ValueLabs’ management that signifies the importance of each and every employee of the company. Mr. R Damodar Reddy, Honourable Minister for Information Technology and Communications, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Mr. Ramalinga Raju, Chairman of Satyam Computer Services Ltd., were among those who attended the function, which is considered as one of the most popular and the biggest IT awards ceremony.
This is the third time ValueLabs, one of the leading global IT services company based in Hyderabad with offices in Atlanta GA, Sunnyvale CA and multiple delivery centers in India and Malaysia received the award from HYSEA. The company had earlier bagged the “Best Indian SME” award in 2003 and the “Top SME Exporter of the Year” award for 2005-06 from HYSEA.
