Global IT services firm ValueLabs will showcase its expertise in mobile and wireless solutions at the GITEX Technology Week (October 9-13, 2011) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) is an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show. It attracts a diverse audience that includes IT professionals, technology enthusiasts, students and consumers as well as regional traders, not just from the Middle East but also from North Africa and the Indian subcontinent.
This year, the event is expected to draw 130,000 visitors from 59 countries who will take in active kiosks and displays by more than 3,500 technology and internet companies.
ValueLabs’ theme for this year’s congregation is around its expertise on Enterprise Mobility, Consumer Mobile Apps and Telecom solutions. The company will exhibit its successes in the region in executing large scale projects related to e-governance, consulting, mobile enablement, and mobile data services platforms.
In addition, the firm will promote adoption of enterprise mobility in the business and government community in the Middle East region.
“We have a strong story to tell in designing and implementing mobility solutions for enterprises, consumers and telcos,” said Mr. Ram Manjeri, Senior Vice-President, ValueLabs. “We have more than a decade’s experience in this domain. Our experience cuts across the entire mobile services chain and spans different types of clients, business models, geographies and technologies. We are directly responsible for client-revenues in excess of US $ 200 million per annum.”
The company believes GITEX Technology Week provides the right platform for branding and marketing its expertise.
“Events such as GITEX are important for us as they provide opportunities to meet a significant cross-section of businesses in the region. They also play a critical role in our sales and marketing strategies,” Mr. Manjeri observed.
ValueLabs is looking to position itself as a strong player in niche segments like applied mobility and telecom, and build visibility among large enterprises, telecom providers and government entities in the region. It plans to leverage trade shows and expos to gain insights into the regional market, form alliance with firms in the region, and directly reach out to the target market.
The company has long-term plans in the region and has set up a sales office in Dubai’s premier information technology cluster, Dubai Internet City (DIC) in 2008. This office caters to the emerging markets in the region extending from the West Asia to the Indian subcontinent and Africa to the CIS countries.
ValueLabs has assiduously formed partnerships and built visibility among large and middle-tier companies in the region by committing substantial investments, in terms of resources and finances.
